Learning @ the Source is a flexible, modular program to help teachers bring primary sources from the Library of Congress to make learning more authentic and engaging. The workshops combine the technology of digital resources and project based learning in a proven way to build inquiry skills with students.

This 1-2 hour session will provide an engaging look at the value of moving beyond the textbook into primary source learning. Teachers will practice a few inquiry techniques to gain first hand understanding of the value and intrigue of primary sources. This is the perfect first step for any school.

Based on your needs, we can deliver custom workshops that focus on primary sources in specific subject or topic areas. These workshops help teachers develop deep curricular content knowledge and bring sophisticated learning projects to their students. Subject area workshops require completion of the Learning @ the Source Level 1 series.
